What comes to mind when you think about fitness? Is it the balance and coordination of a gymnast; or the endurance of the runner who wakes most mornings before the sun? Is it the strength and power of a wrestler; or the accuracy and stamina of a boxer? Is it willow like flexibility of a yoga instructor; or the speed and agility of a soccer player? At ProFitness Northwest, we believe that balanced fitness includes all of these qualities. We believe there are ten points of fitness and that each person has a unique blend of attributes across each of those ten points.

We also believe that your fitness doesn’t have to match anyone else’s. Whether your goal is weight loss, pain management, health maintenance, or competitive athletics, the requirement for basic movement patterns that provide the foundation to more complex and random movements are the same for all of us. Fitness has to be attainable and worthwhile for you, because your life and your health are your own. You and only you can take accountability for what you are able to, and more importantly, willing to come to terms with at the end of the day.

You define yourself, your life and your meaning. We will give you the tools and the foundation to reach your fitness and lifestyle goals.

ProFitness Northwest will help take you back to the rudimentary beginnings of your body mechanics and provide a fundamental understanding of posture and successful movement patterns. We will help you find the practical application of conscience movement beyond the gym to your everyday life. We will help you develop broad-based, balanced fitness through universal functional movement patterns that all people do in everyday life. The fundamental movements required to safely burn more calories; pick up your ever growing child without back or knee pain; move the garden hose to the back of the house, or take down an opponent on a wrestling mat are the same.

 

We are committed to providing professional, positive, research-based and intuitive guidance and support to facilitate uncomplicated development toward your goals. We will also help you resolve any obstacles that may come across your path. We are here to empower you to make the right decisions and enable you to perform at your peak capability.

At ProFitness Northwest, we possess a sincere desire to share our passion for fitness with others. We love to teach and we love to learn. We learn formally as well as from one another, but we’ve learned the most from the people we’ve worked with. Our team understands that you are unique and that no two people require the same coaching. We are so incredibly excited to bring our depth of knowledge to the table and share it with you and in turn have you share your journey with us.

Our team is comprised of individuals who share the passion, the knowledge, and the experience that is crucial to strong and sustainable growth in health and fitness. Our group fitness classes include gymnastics, competitive cycling, running, kayaking, and hiking. We are coaches, artists, parents, students, partners, and friends. We look forward to meeting you.
